FIJI STAG

Our group of four guys meet every Sunday morning for some men's doubles tennis at the Millennium Sports Club in Vallejo, CA. Teams are selected based on a rating system using the average score of the most current 10 sets played by each player. Currently, the regulars are Larry, John, Rich and Cyp. Larry coordinates the assignments for balls and refreshments after tennis.

Tennis

3 sets were played and the "good guys" won.

The only item of significance occurred in the second set with Zack's sub, Bob F. After a game was over, in Bob's own words his racket slipped out of his hand and flew 20 feet striking a fence pole. No damage was done to either item. No measurements were taken to see if he exceeded Bob M.'s distance.

Larry, thanks for updating FIJI STAG in my absence.

Hey, it is nice to see we are tasting other salsas besides Trader Joe's. This one from Safeway with a 7.4 rating is awesome!

Regarding tennis, I am curious why the racquet slipped off Bob's grip. Was it because it was a new racquet that needed some breaking in period, or was it because Bob's sweating hand caused the racquet to slip? I am sure it had nothing to do with somebody losing his temper.

BTW, I made it to the airport and back.

Zack
