STAG 7/2/2006

STAG resumed yesterday after a 3 week hiatus due to the 3.5 team league matches. The morning started out a little dreary with overcast skies and gusty wind conditions. Rich subbed for Zack. Unfortunately, the day did not get any better for John and Larry as they lost to Cyp and Rich 6 - 3, 6 - 4. The losers consoled themselves with some good Beck's beer that Cyp brought.

SALSA TASTING

John brought Albertsons Picante sauce - medium for the salsa tasting. The ratings were 7.0, 7.5, 7.9, and 8.0 with an average of 7.6.

TENNIS RATING

The tennis ratings will not be published today since Zack has the database on this. A suggestion on breaking a tie between 2 players' ratings is to use 11 or 12 set scores, whatever is needed to break the tie. Yesterday, both Cyp and Larry had the same rating.
