There was no salsa tasting today. The STAG group joined the 7.0 players and guests for a Barbecue. We had lots of good food and good company, and some doned their Halloween costumes.

Dwight subbed for Zack today.

We had the Mixed 7.0 team playing at home at the same time as our STAG event. They were playing Match #5 against Solano Athletic. MILL-Vallejo won 2-1.

SALSA TASTING

John provided Sonoma Salsa's Meza Fire Roasted Salsa from Costco for the tasting.
The STAG ratings were 7.8, 7.8, 8, 8.6
Average: 8.05

The guest taster gave it a 9 rating. The guest rater also provided us with some delicious pickled salmon.

The Bird was absent. I hope that he flew south for the winter.

TENNIS

The good guys won all three sets 6-1, 6-1, 1-0.

COMMENT

Although the Mixed 7.0 team had some delicious refreshments after tennis theirs was a dry event (no one brought drinks). The STAG group enjoyed Moosehead Beer from Canada with their salsa.

We had more crowd today than normal. Our 7.0 team played their Match number 3 against Vacaville at the same time FIJI played. So we had several guests joining us for salsa tasting after tennis.
