SALSA TASTING

John brought Costco Sonoma Mesa Fire Roasted Salsa amended with some homemade ingredients. The ratings were:

7.7, 7.8, 8.0, 8.3. Average: 7.95

The Bird did not 'submit' a rating although present.

TENNIS

We had to dry the courts before play because it had rained the night before. One of the rollers broke so now we are down to one roller.

SALSA TASTING

Richard brought Safeway Southwest Salsa amended with some homemade ingredients. The ratings were:

7.9, 8.0, 8.7, 9.0. Average: 8.40

The Bird rated it a 5.

TENNIS

We spinned our rackets for partners, with only three people spinning to save time. It took 5 tries to get an odd person to determine the teams. I calculated the odds of this happening to be 1 chance in 256!! Can somebody confirm this?

Cyp and Zack were missing this morning. Dwight and Richard substituted for them.

SALSA TASTING

Richard brought a hybrid salsa for the tasting. It was Pace's Chunky Salsa that he modified with garlic, cilantro, etc. It was of medium heat. The ratings were as follows:

The bird appeared but did not cast a vote.

TENNIS

The Nice Guys won all of the sets from the Good Guys today.

STAG 01/08/2006

After a month of rain-outs we were able to play tennis today and have our Salsa tasting. Rich subbed for Zack today.

Salsa Tasting

Rich brought Safeway Select Garlic Lovers salsa - medium this week for the tasting. The ratings were as follows:

The presentation (a towel wrapped around the jar) did not earn any extra points.

The good guys beat the nice guys in two sets.
